Road Trippin' Argyll Style

Beautiful Argyll and Bute was the undeniable star of the show as Gordon Ramsay, Gino D’Acampo and Fred Sirieix visited Easdale and Oban for the latest episode of ITV show ‘Gordon, Gino and Fred's Road Trip.’

The council’s Film Office, as well as the Piers and Harbours Team, assisted Studio Ramsay in bringing the production to Oban and Lorn. And many local businesses were delighted the assist the trio on their trip.

It’s not hard to see why Argyll and Bute is considered to be a place of outstanding natural beauty – especially for film. And as Ramsay himself says, the area is recognised as supplying “some of the best seafood in the world.”

Also, stay tuned for our next video post form the episode, which will show the trio’s visit to one of Scotland’s oldest and smallest distilleries, Oban Distillery.
